From addresses to coordinates
MapMax Geocoder is a standalone Total CMS extension. Select a collection, connect your address fields and choose the fields for latitude and longitude. Use a complete address or separate fields for street, postcode, city and country.
Review before saving
Geocoding starts only when you request it and consent to sending the selected addresses to Geoapify. The preview does not write coordinates. Review the results and explicitly confirm your selection. Existing coordinates and changes made after the preview remain protected. An optional setting allows a complete 0/0 pair to be treated as empty.
Ready for your workflow
The interface is available in German and English, supports dark mode and adapts to smaller screens. An update button appears at the top when a newer version is available. The extension works independently of the MapMax Stack and your website builder.
Free extension, your own Geoapify account
MapMax Geocoder costs €0. You need your own Geoapify API key; usage limits and any provider charges depend on your Geoapify plan.
Requires Total CMS 3.5.2 or later and PHP 8.2 or later. Installation instructions are included in the ZIP.
